Emily Judson Honors Her Kansas Roots in Award-Winning Single “It’s My Farm”

Wichita-based singer-songwriter Emily Judson has released a heartfelt new single, “It’s My Farm,” inspired by her father’s life and the Kansas family farm that shaped their family’s story. Co-written with fellow artist Andrew Chappell, the song weaves her dad’s own words into a touching tribute to heritage, hard work, and home. Although Judson’s roots are in folk music, the track naturally found a classic country sound, complete with pedal steel from family friend Devon Teran.

Since its release earlier this year, “It’s My Farm” has earned wide praise, winning Collaboration of the Year at the Elite Music Awards and Best Music Collaboration from the World Songwriting Awards.
