Sherise Dsouza is an internationally acclaimed, award-winning vocalist and songwriter from India, celebrated for her dynamic performances and versatile musical talent. She is also a Recording Academy Voting Member and a Country Music Association (CMA) Member.
She has won multiple awards such as the : Best Pop Artist – Radio Music Awards (2026) at the Indie Music Awards, Silver Medal – Best Pop/Funk Vocalist at the European International Music Awards for her single ‘Funk Train’, 2025 – Emerging Female Pop Artist at the 2025 Open Mic Awards in Hollywood California USA, International Female Songwriter of the Year 2025 and International Performer of the Year (Bronze Award) 2022 at the International Singer Songwriter Awards USA

The Sherise Dsouza Collective is a high-energy, versatile band known for delivering electrifying and soul-stirring performances. Drawing influences from Funk, R&B, Country, Pop, Retro, Soul, Jazz, and Classic Rock, the band has become a favorite among music lovers worldwide.
Solo and Duo Performances
In addition to her band, Sherise excels in solo and duo live performances. She recently performed at 3 clubs, Los Angeles USA in January 2026 for for a music showcase charity event called musicFuze where the proceeds would go to LA wildfire victims.
Teaching and Mentorship
As a vocal teacher, Sherise combines her extensive musical knowledge with a holistic approach to voice development. She has completed Trinity London Rock and Pop Examinations up to Grade 7 and has been teaching for over a decade. Her courses on voice modulation, intonation, and vocal projection are designed to help students achieve their best vocal selves.
Sherise is also an active Mentor at Grammy U – GRAMMY U provides opportunities for emerging music industry professionals and creatives through events, networking opportunities and more.
Additional Contributions
Sherise is a core team member of Lazie Indie Magazine, where she interviews and promotes artists from around the world. She also plays a key role in organizing the International Independent Music Festival in Trivandrum, India.

Sherise draws inspiration from a diverse range of artists, including Whitney Houston, Taylor Swift, Sia, Ella Fitzgerald, Eva Cassidy, Rihanna, Inna, Evanescence and many more. Her eclectic taste in music is reflected in her unique sound and captivating performances.

Sherise’s talents extend beyond music. She is an accomplished songwriter, instructional designer, and columnist. Her book of poetry, “Directions, Dimensions, Dexterity,” is available on Amazon and Flipkart.
